Rates are a delicate subject for a variety of reasons. Because assignments vary in both intended use and complexity, it is difficult at best to present more than a cursory set of baseline figures. That said, the following represent prices for the photographer only. Rental equipment, stylists, makeup artists and/or assistants are additional. In certain instances, package rates are offered; click here for more details.
Cancellations, made less than 24 hours prior to the date of the scheduled assignment may be subject to a cancellation fee equal to fifty (50) percent of the estimated balance.
Terms: All jobs are invoiced "due upon receipt," and certain complex assignments may require an advance, particularly if rental equipment, a large crew, location expenses or travel and lodging are necessary.

Note: Photographic assignments include color correction and file conversion into the format(s), color spaces and resolution of the client's choosing, which are then copied to the appropriate storage media. Additional copies are available at the prices below, and any image manipulation, including cropping, complex retouching and/or other techniques will be billed at the retouching rates shown below.
Use rights are assumed, by default, to be limited to One-Time First North American unless otherwise specified in the estimate and agreed to by both parties. amundsen-staats reserves the right to make use of images for self-promotion unless specifically prohibited by estimate and/or contractual terms.
Model and property releases are the responsibility of the client, and amundsen-staats will assume no liability in the event that a client fails to obtain them.

Headshots: $250
Includes two hour studio photo session, 10 prints (5 by 7, 8 by 10 or 8.5 by 11 inch) and a CD or DVD of all images converted for use on websites as well as print reproduction. Makeup artist and/or stylist available at additional cost.
Family Portraits: $375
Includes up to 3 hour photo session at studio, home or on location, 10 prints (5 by 7, 8 by 10 or 8.5 by 11 inch) and a CD or DVD of all images converted for use on websites as well as print reproduction, with a web-based Flash or Java presentation ready to upload included. Makeup artist and/or stylist available at additional cost.
